Here I go again trying to blog. I'm great at reading other people's blogs just not so great at writing my own. I've started making homemade bath and body products over the past few months. I had no intention of this turning in to a small business. I bought a small melt and pour kit for mothers day gifts and it took off from there. I started getting request and people were loving my scents. I have now started to really play with the scents, colors and different companies to deal with. Let me tell you it's been a blast. I'm just soaking up all the knowledge I'm getting.
I got brave a few weeks ago and did a market day in a town near by and it was a great little success. I now have a market day and two local museums that will be selling my products I'm so excited and thrilled. I didn't realise how crazy people are over handmade body products. Needless to say there are all kinds of experiments going on in my kitchen.
I've also been lucky enough to find a wonderful local graphic designer that I will be working with next week to design my logo and labels. Country bumpkin look here I come! After my fantastic labeling is done I will be opening up my Etsy shop. I have had my hands full already on a local bases I just can't wait to see what happens online.
